Hi! This actually isn’t Nick, this is Ben. I’ve temporarily “hijacked” my brother’s blog in order to give him a really nice Christmas present without his knowledge … a new blog design!
Let’s first start off with a couple credits. This blog, as you can see in the footer, is still 99% Cutline, I just totally pimped it out. The black-ish background you see and the grey-ish content background was used from the SUPERB Fork b1 skin for K2. If you’re a K2er then you seriously need to take a good look at Fork; it’s an amazing skin and frankly was the inspiration for this Cutline skin you see on TCRA.
This mod features a www vacuum which removes the www from all pages and posts (helps with SEO.) It also has built-in inline asides (just publish a post to the “asides” category). Nice, eh?
That’s about it. I hope you enjoy your Christmas present, Nick! :D Merry Christmas!

BTW, all the buttons in the navigation menu won’t work until I remove the bow, but I want to wait until Nick sees it before I take it away.
Like I said over on Open Switch, very nice! Has sort of an urban decay feel to it. I live the navigation bar a lot. I see how you made a 1px wide gradient, but how do you get the line inbetween? Is it a space w/ a darker background?
s/b “like” the nav bar (no edit comment plugin here…yet!).
Wow! I love what Ben has done for you Nick! It looks great :D.
Scott describes it so well, “urban decay feel” I couldn’t agree more. Great job Ben :D
I really like what Ben has done for your site Nick. It looks great, certainly gives it a very relaxed feel to the place.
WOW!! What a Christmas surprise this is. Your brother Ben has done yet another out standing job with this.
What an awesome Christmas presant. The site looks great. Merry Christmas!
Thank you so much Ben this is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!
@ Scott regarding the nav bar: Nope, it’s just a border-left: #fff and border-right: #bababa. Easy, eh?
@ All & Nick: I’ve put in place the ability for users to edit their own comments now. w00t!
