My name is Nicholas Gray, I am 26 years old and I am happily Married to a beautiful woman who, for whatever reason, puts up with this blogging addiction of mine. Humbug

Jenny stood at the sliding glass door, as the words I hate the most came spilling out of her mouth, “It’s snowing!”

I don’t care what kind of gloves I am wearing ice and snow always finds it’s way down into them

It is already sticking to the cars in the parking lot. So as you may have guessed this is my annual “I hate the winter” post, every year I complain and moan about the cold weather and snow. Yes, every year I do this and every year nothing changes… it keeps snowing, you think someone would take my complaints seriously. I mean come on, I feel I am being ignored, someone do something about this. Could someone please speed up global warming? I am sick and tired of stepping out the door and having my nose hairs freeze, and heaven forbid I take a shower right before I leave. I think the thing I hate the most though, is having to scrape the windows on the cars, I don’t care what kind of gloves I am wearing ice and snow always finds it’s way down into them.

So what am I going to do about it this year? I don’t know. Last year we had the “Boycott the cold” day, will we have it again, I don’t know. All I know is that there needs to be something to get me through this. I think the only thing I enjoy about the winter is when Jenny and I take the cats and throw them out onto the porch in a foot of snow.

    uhhh, JERK!

  3. You are so lazy sometimes dude it is unbelievable:) This whole post was about you being fed up of clearing the path to your house from snow, year in year out. I am on to you and your mischievous plan to speed up global warming to suit your mischievous purposes:)

Let those cats fly and land ungracefully in a patch of snow I say !!!

    Later friend!

  4. I too am one who is not fond of the snow as people at College, particularly in the lower school find it utterly amazing and get far too over excited.

Another reason why I don’t like it is because it takes forever to leave my area to get to College in a morning because everyone departs much earlier and then there is a massive crush. One year I was sat there for about two hours to get out of the place that I live in!

We actually had snow today believe it or not. As soon as I saw it I immediately thought about what you had written on here haha (I’d read this before commenting). Lucky for us though it didn’t lie.

DP - Lazy?! I think not, it takes a lot more work to speed up global warming than it does to shovel a sidewalk :) Oh, the cats will fly, oh yes they will!

Aidan - Snow is the pits, you are right the commute is far worse when it snows. I can’t wait ’till spring :)
